While still in high school, I became interested in researching our family history. Since then I have accumulated a collection of official documents, church records, photographs and other artifacts. By creating this site I hope to pass this interest on to future generations and to preserve many of the photos and other documents created and collected by myself and others of this and previous generations.

This site is also intended to be a place where family can collaborate and share genealogy information as well as media, stories, documents and anything else that helps to portray a more complete picture of each individual. We continually add to and improve this site, so check back often!

Please note

Photos published on this site are part of the personal family collections of the site owner or have been contributed by generous colleagues (collectively 'the owners'). The owners retain all rights associated with their photos. The 1950 Census is here!

The 1950 United States Census was released earlier this year and is now available on Ancestry (properly indexed!) as well as the National Archives web site. Of all the persons profiled on this site who were living in the US in 1950, I have been able to find the census record for all but two of them; Wm. Ernest Melville and Raymond E. Helgeson. If anyone knows where these two men were living in 1950, please let me know.

For a list of all 1950 census records go here.
